Welcome to Mrs. Ellsworth's Page!
Welcome to 6th grade! I am very excited for the beginning of the new school year and I look forward to getting to know you all and to be able to get to share my classroom with you. Let me tell you a little bit about myself...this is my 12th year teaching. I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade and 4th grade. I also love sports! I've played soccer since I was 7 years old and I still play today! I was very fortunate to play for Liverpool High School and then for Ithaca College. And then after I graduated from Ithaca, I was able to coach soccer and lacrosse for Liverpool for 8 years. I stopped coaching once I had my kids.

My daughter Shea turned 7 this year and is going into 2nd grade. And my son Grady turned 6 years old this summer and is starting 1st grade. I can't believe how fast time has gone by!
I look forward to working with all my students and being able to share a variety of wonderful literature with them. My hope for this year is to help them create a love for reading, if they don't already have one, and help them to find books that they truly enjoy.
